Allan Knopf has built over 2,000 homes and has proven himself to be an innovator in the St. Louis and National building industry. For over 40 years in development and building he has built with a promise in mind - to use the best material for the money and the best men for the job. Knopf’s homes are superbly crafted, blending the best building techniques with today’s advanced construction technology.
Knopf has been deeply involved in the workings of the building industry. He is a past President of the Home Builder’s Association of Greater St. Louis, a Life Director of the National Association of Home Builders and has served 12 years as Trustee on the Pension, Health and Welfare Board of the St. Louis Carpenters District Council.
He has been deeply engaged in municipal interfacing, financing, design, construction and development, including the creation of indentures and trust agreements, personally meeting with, negotiating, and implementing all phases required in land development.
He has been instrumental in preserving the value of distressed projects. As property manager he has overseen permitting, master planning, escrows and municipal agreement, development of collateral materials, sales and marketing.
Allan’s community involvement goes well beyond the building business. He
is a past President of the Sheltered Workshop/Work Activity Center of South St. Louis.
